The Will writers in our Welwyn Garden City office are participating in the Isabel Hospice ‘Make a Will Month’. It will run from October 1st to October 31st, 2024.
The initiative aims to help local members of the community protect their legacy and the future of their loved ones, while also supporting the vital work of Isabel Hospice.
Our team are offering appointments to provide free simple and mirror Wills for members of the local community. Instead of our fees for these two types of Wills, we are suggesting an optional donation to Isabel Hospice. The suggested donations are £120 for a basic single will or £175 for a pair of mirrored basic wills.
Isabel Hospice provides vital palliative and end-of-life care to patients and families in eastern Hertfordshire. Isabel’s services are free of charge to those who need them, but they are not without cost, meaning nearly £7 million must be raised each year to guarantee the future of care for eastern Hertfordshire.
In the year 2023-2024, Isabel Hospice supported 1,597 patients – these services included 210 IPU admissions, 1,303 patients cared for by Clinical Nurse Specialists, 424 Hospice at Home patients, 2,144 attendances to our Living Well centre, and 12,461 consultations by our Community Care Team.
During the previous ‘Make a Will Month’ in March of this year, our Wills, Trusts and Probate team helped to raise an incredible £1,820 from client donations to help support the essential palliative care that Isabel Hospice provides for families in eastern Hertfordshire. Thank you to all those who donated to the hospice and instructed us to write their Wills.
