The hospice sector is currently facing significant funding challenges. Isabel Hospice provides its services free of charge to those who need them, but the cost of delivering that care is nearly £8 million per year. With only around 30% of their core costs covered by the NHS, the hospice relies heavily on the generosity of our local community to cover the remaining 70%.
