The successful completion of the Cyber Essentials assessment, indicates that the firm has taken the necessary steps to reduce the risk of serious data and financial loss, including intellectual property theft. The certification process outlines the precautions that should be taken to protect businesses against a wide variety of the most common cyber-attacks.

HRJ Foreman Laws Solicitors, strongly recommend that all clients remain alert to emails asking for funds to be transferred. Fraudsters have been known to impersonate law firms to trick clients into sending monies to them. It’s essential to remain alert and contact your solicitor to verify bank account details before you transfer money.

HRJ Foreman Laws Solicitors will never send notifications of changes to our bank details by email. If you receive an email that appears to come from the firm providing different bank details to the ones supplied at the outset of your matter or indicating a change in our bank details, please contact your solicitor by telephone immediately. You should not reply to the email or act on any information contained in it.
