Congratulations to all the juniors who took part in the HRJ Foreman Laws Solicitors Academy Cup at the Letchworth Golf Club on 12 September 2021.

Following some great play, the result was a tie. The winning team then went on to scoop the trophy in a close tie breaker putting contest.

With 64 members, Letchworth Garden City Juniors are the second largest Junior section in Hertfordshire. The Letchworth Garden City Junior membership is open to girls and boys aged between 7 and 18.

Split into 2 membership categories, the Academy membership is the ideal starting place for beginners. Group lessons are provided at weekends where players can learn how to play the game and make friends. The Academy membership gives access to the 6-hole Academy course, also the Clubhouse, putting green and Driving Range.

For more experienced Junior Golfers, the Heritage membership gives Juniors access to the main 18 hole Heritage course, Academy course, Clubhouse and putting green. Competitions and matches against other clubs are organised through the year.

The Letchworth Garden City Golf Club is in the forefront of Junior golf development. It has a professional golfer dedicated to teaching and player development.

For 2022 it has partnered with England Golf to promote the sport in Hertfordshire schools.
