Legal experience:
Katharine studied law at Hull University and completed the Legal Practice Course at Guilford College of Law. She trained at Taylor Walton Solicitors before joining Foreman Laws on qualification in 2002. Since then Katharine has become the Head of the Family Law Department. In addition to being a family solicitor, Katharine is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and holds a Specialist Resolution Accreditation for Financial Provision and Domestic Violence.
During her career, Katharine has worked on 1000 plus family law cases, gaining extensive experience and insight into the broad range of challenges often presented during the divorce process.
Katharine is also accustomed to supporting clients in complex situations on divorce, cohabitation issues, and financial matters of medium and high net worth, often involving businesses and investments. She is also experienced in all matters relating to the Children Act, including child arrangements disputes, leave to remove, special guardianship, and child abduction. In addition, she has extensive experience in working on domestic violence cases.
Katharine is a member of Resolution – an organisation of over 6,500 family lawyers and other professionals in England and Wales.
